Surrounded by a beautiful mountain range, Redlands is located 60 miles northeast of Los Angeles and 45 miles west of Palm Springs. Known for its Victorian and historical architecture, vibrant downtown, great shopping opportunities and many restaurants, Redlands has truly become an ideal place for today’s senior.

Once part of the Spanish Mission lands, Redlands is now known as the Jewel of the Inland Empire. For much of its history, the city was known to be the “Navel Orange Capital of the world” as the citrus industry was the main focus of its economy.

If you are a history enthusiast, you will surely find Redland’s historic homes and gardens very interesting. Kimberly Crest Homes and Gardens is a picturesque French chateau built in1897 and is enjoyed by more than 11,000 visitors each year. The Relands Historic Museum and the Historical Glass Museum offers a peek to the area’s fascinating past.

Casa de la Vista is located close to great neighborhood amenities. The Citrus Plaza is located 5 miles and Redlands Mall is 1.13 miles away from the property. These shopping areas include favorite chain establishments like Kohls, Target, Barnes and Noble and Bed Bath and Beyond. Grocery stores and drugstores like Albertson's and Rite Aid are located a very short distance away from the property.

The community’s senior centers are also not very far away. Joslyn Senior Center and the Redlands Community Senior Center offer services such as Meals on Wheels, care giving support training and counseling classes for seniors and their care providers. 


Driving Directions

From Los Angeles – Take Hwy. 101 South via to Interstate 10 Freeway East. Make a slight left at San Bernardino Freeway (See signs for I-10E / San Bernardino). Continue onto I-10E. Take exit 79 toward Orange Street/Downtown Redlands. Turn right on North Eureka Street. Make a left at West Redlands Boulevard.

From Palm Springs – Take CA I-10 West. Take the exit 80 for Cypress Avenue. Turn left at East Cypress. Make a right at Redlands Boulevard.

From Riverside – Take I-215 North and Merge onto I-10 East towards Redlands. Take exit 79 toward Orange Street/Downtown Redlands. Turn right on North Eureka Street. Make a left at West Redlands Boulevard.
